Ready for some more advanced knitting? Register for the first date only and you will be enrolled in the second date automatically.
Learn to knit in the round, knit two colors at once in a stranded knitting colorwork pattern, learn to read a colorwork chart, tips for ribbing, matching your cast-on and bind-off and optional latvian braid. The result will be a cozy, intricate cowl that was designed by Cynthia.
This class meets twice, April 7th and April 14th, 1-3pm with an optional bonus meeting date April 21st for extra help from Cynthia or a Knit-a-long!).
You will need the following supplies (Bring your own, or purchase from the shop):
- Two contrasting colors of DK (or Sportweight) yarn, 50g each.
- 24” circular needles, USsize #4 & #6 Stitch markers (15), one a different color or design (progress keeper).
- #4 or F crochet hook (this is for cast on)- bring one if you have it, we'll have some loaners for the class.
- Notebook for taking down notes.
